Why did I lose weight after a very week off my healthy eating plan?

This answer has no scientific basis, but comes from personal experience, as I have been in yo-yo diets for most of my life. I noticed that whenever I stopped dieting and resumed eating "normally", I lose a few more pounds in the succeeding weeks. I am guessing that this is the latent effect of dieting, but it does not last long. I am also guessing that if dieting has latent effects, so does overeating. Good luck!
