My illuminated power door lock switch doesn't light up. What's wrong?

I have a 1998 Buick LeSabre Custom. It has power locks. The front door lock switches are illuminated. The power door lock switch on the front penger door does not light anymore. It locks and unlocks, but it doesn't light up. Do I need to get a new switch, or is this just a simple wiring problem. Thank you in advance.
