Is it possilble for cheeks to get slimmer when you get braces?

I have a gap on the top and bottom of my teeth there not really big were u can really notice the gaps. But im going to get braces soon and was wondering when i get braces would my cheeks get slimmer? Like hilery duff because i read somewhere she got venneers and that made her cheeks slimmer.
