Wedding dress shopping HELP!!!?

I live in Atlanta, GA. Me and my boyfriend are going to be getting married in the next year. I have been told that i need to start looking for my wedding dress now if i want to find the right one for me. Any suggestions from other people that live in ATL. I have rather big but a small waste. Mine are real also! Im not sure if i should do strapless or something with straps or a halter? What do you guys thing for girls with big s. What type of dress looks better?
