Is this rude? Ten points best answer?
I have two colleges to choose between. One has sent me their financial aid letter, the other hasn't. I can't make up my mind, and I have three weeks left to decide. I wanted to do one last visit to each. Problem: the closer one (3 hours) is the one who sent their financial aid letter, and the other one which I really want to go to (14 hours away, $400+ to visit it again) hasn't. Because of money and time, I NEED to know if the second school is able to supply me with a sufficient aid package (which I don't think they will). Money is a key deciding factor in this, and I need to know when that letter is coming in the mail, that way I can plan everything else. If it's too little, I cannot go. Likewise, I would need to buy a train ticket NOW if I wanted to visit to see if I still want to go. I wanted to call their financial aid office and ask when the letter is coming, even though they're probably stressed to high hell with mailing them all out. Is it rude, to call? Can it be interpreted as rude in any way?
