How do you get your puppies to not bite when they take treats out of your hand...?

My puppies are just 11 weeks old and we dont have a problem with them biting any other time..I'd like to rephrase my question...when we give them doggy treats they have taken them nicely so far...but when my hubby and daughter gave them a little piece of hotdog they both took it aggresively and drew blood..he tried a couple more times and swatted her on the nose when she bit but after a couple of times she wouldnt take the food..I think because it seems she was gonna get swatted if she took it...he bit every time he took some...so whats the best method to follow here...thanks for your help
