Are Zebra Finches solitary?

No. They are flock animals and enjoy the company of other finches. You can put them with other zebra finches or society finches. Just be careful when introducing two strange birds to each other. Although finches are not known for their aggression, it never hurts to take a little bit of precaution to avoid any injuries to the birds.
