20 years old and looking for own place?

I would like to move out on my own and have my own place. I was thinking about a townhouse or apartment. I work in Dietary as a food server and was wondering how much to save up to get my own place. It's been hard saving lately but I would like to move on from my parent's house. Any suggestions? Thank you for your comments
